During
the production of cutin, a natural bio-resin obtained from processing
tomato skins, centrifuges are used.
In
particular, horizontal decanter centrifuges with a screw conveyor are
employed.
The
use of acids in the production process requires a decanter with
materials suitable for working under these conditions.
