Soap pastes are obtained through the alkaline
refining of fatty oils. These pastes undergo preliminary treatment
with sulfuric acid to produce oleins intended for soap production or
other purposes. The process of splitting soap pastes is not
straightforward. Assistance is provided by using a vertical disc
centrifuge with a three-phase separator, which separates the olein
from the acidified water that exits through the separator nozzles.
