For
rice starch processing, horizontal decanters with an internal screw
and then vertical three-phase nozzle separators are used.
The
decanters initially perform the first processing phase, while the
separators separate the starch from the water and fibers.
In
corn starch, vertical nozzle separators are used.
Tapioca
starch, on the other hand, requires two- and three-phase nozzle
separators.
