Whenever
we need to use large amounts of water as a coolant during the
processing of inert materials (mines), we can clean the water itself
with a centrifuge. Sometimes it forms a real sludge that needs to be
treated. A decanter centrifuge can remove suspended particles and
leave a clean, reusable coolant product. However, if the suspended
particles are fine and the quantities of solids are not high, a
vertical separator is preferred. In any case, considering the cost of
transportation and the water itself, the use of centrifuges for its
recovery and reuse is justified.
