More
and more companies are using digesters.
During
the anaerobic digestion process (without oxygen), a liquid compound
rich in highly interesting solids is formed. This liquid phase is
rich in nutrients, organic waste, and food waste that become a very
useful organic fertilizer. However, the aqueous part makes the
dissolved fertilizer unsuitable for its final use as it undergoes
fermentation and deterioration processes, so it needs to be treated
to obtain a dry solid component.
The
solution is separation with a two-phase solid-liquid decanter
centrifuge to dehydrate the solid component and make the fertilizers
storable and ready for use.
