The fish waste is cooked, and from the cooking
process, we obtain an aqueous solution rich in solids (biomass).
First, the solids need to be separated from the liquid, and a
solid-liquid decanter is the suitable machine for this process.
Continuously, self-cleaning, and efficiently, we
obtain on one side the flour with numerous applications and on the
other side a liquid phase composed of oil and water.
At this point, a three-phase vertical disc
separator allows us to separate the fish oil from the water and its
residual solid phase.
All the separated phases have market value, but
especially fish oil is highly valued.
