Butter
oil can be produced in two different ways:
From
Butter Melting: In this method, the butter is melted and clarified. A
three-phase vertical disc centrifuge (with about 30% water) is used
to achieve an oil purity of 99% with the first pass. A second pass
with washing further purifies the oil to 99.8%.
From
Cream: This method is more complex and requires specialized
equipment. Initially, a degumming separator is used, followed by a
final clarifier to complete the purification process.
